Xavo was founded in 2000 in Bayreuth (Germany). In retrospect – this was no good time to start a new business in software and information technology. The internet and e-commerce bubble of the late 90’s began to burst. As everyone knows – a major crash in the IT industry followed.

But, on the other hand, in the year 2000 there were the first signs on the horizon that IT industry (after striving a long time for higher productivity without limited success) will be grown-up very soon by enhancing the software development efficiency significantly. With standardized software platforms (like J2EE) available, the software developer got rid of a lot of routine stuff and could now focus more on the customer application development side.

A good reason for the Xavo founders to champion innovative and sustainable Enterprise IT Solutions. A very successful commitment: Started with the three founders in January 2001, Xavo have been expanded in the meantime to more than 40 highly skilled and motivated IT professionals. Xavo products and solutions are now used at many world-wide enterprises, mainly in tobacco, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals/biotechnology and discrete manufacturing.
