Uwe Schey (TabExpo 2011 - a great success)
Detlef Riedel (Danke, Steve!)

Our Mission

We integrate experience, technology and passion in inspiring application for all people working in the production process. The goal is to take away IT system complexity from employees and break down informational barriers to enable people to ReFocus on Production.

The Challenge

IT in the production world today is a matter of course. It covers a broad range of areas from product development to the shop floor and the quality laboratories up to the intralogistics departments.

All these areas produce a large amount of data during development, planning, production and controlling. To handle it becomes effectively a difficult task: spread over various applications in different departments, shielded by strict user permissions and complicated by unnecessary generalization the data provides only a fraction of the value it could do.

From Data to Information

The main goal is to make information from the data. Using the components from our ReFocus on Production strategy this becomes easier than ever before. Information becomes available to the people and they can devote their attention back to their actual goal: bring better products in a shorter time to a larger market.

Integration, Aggregation & Intelligence

You can master this new complexity through the use of three components: System Integration ensures consistent supply of data and forms the basis for individual and creative solutions for all employees in the production process.

Aggregation and linking of data creates valuable information. This happens by creating classical reporting solutions but really comes into play by using intelligent Operational Excellence Systems (OpX). These systems allow people to “dive into the information”.

The utilization of computer intelligence (not “artificial intelligence”) will relieve people from time-consuming everyday tasks. For example, Xavo offers automated scheduling solutions for many areas, which facilitates the planning work, avoiding mistakes and can respond to possible exceptions in the course of a day within minutes.

The solution: Operational Excellence for everyone!

The described methods come all out of Xavo’s Operational Excellence Strategie (whereas our OpX-Model takes focus on continuous improvement and knowledge utilization). By integration all involved people the whole process becomes clearer and more transparent. This helps avoiding mistakes, improving product quality and people create new ideas - about production procedures, collaboration in general or to improve the product itself.
